In Canada, being prepared in daily-life activities is necessary, especially in winter. For example, this month (March), my calendar says winter is almost over—we are heading to a spring season. Just before an official spring season began, I went to bed on a night that was warm and there was no snow and any sign of snow or cold weather on that night. When I woke up in the morning after the night, I saw snow covering my entire vehicle and the ground in my neighbourhood. I had already placed my winter gloves and boots in my winter wardrobe for next winter, because I thought this winter season was over. I assumed wrong! I had to go back to the wardrobe to bring the gloves and boots so that I use them. It’s fun though, because I’m already missing snow! I love the look of it and the benefits that comes with it.
Each season comes with benefits. For example, spring season, the sunrise comes out quicker than in winter months. It’s beautiful in early mornings, for instance, having a blue and calm sky. And, the sunset does not disappear as quickly as in Januaries. Adjusting an hour earlier in this period gives people more time to work, during the daylight. Not to forget the summers, which are also beautiful and warm and even hot sometimes!
